Who we are

DevOps that is somebody's job, not everybody's side task

Most companies need serious DevOps for a few months a year and steady attention the rest of the time, which is an awkward shape for a salary and a terrible fit for whichever developer happens to know Terraform.

FusionHit takes the whole practice, on your hours.

WHAT WE DELIVER

What we take over

The work that has to happen every week whether or not anyone has time for it.

Pipeline ownership

Your CI/CD kept working as the codebase grows: new services onboarded, failing builds investigated, and the pipeline maintained rather than left to rot after the person who built it moved on.

Infrastructure operations

Environments, provisioning and capacity managed as code, with the routine changes handled and the drift corrected before anyone notices it.

Incident response

Monitoring, alerting and diagnosis when something breaks, with the root cause written down and the fix carried through instead of the ticket being closed after the restart.

On-call coverage

Defined hours, defined response times and a documented escalation path, so your engineers stop carrying a pager for a system they did not build.

Cloud cost management

Spend reviewed monthly against what changed, with rightsizing and waste removal treated as recurring work rather than a project someone runs once a year.

Platform improvement backlog

The automation and hardening work that never survives sprint planning, delivered continuously in whatever capacity you buy.

TERMS

The five questions to ask before you sign anything

Every provider on this page promises senior people and fast response. Almost none of it survives into a document. Here is what ends up in yours. If a provider will not put these in writing, that is the answer.

What your agreement specifies
Who exactly is working on this?

The named engineers assigned to your platform, and the notice you get before any of them changes. Nobody is pulled from a shared bench.

How fast is fast?

Response targets by severity level and the hours they apply to, agreed during onboarding rather than during an outage.

Who gets called at 3am?

The on-call rotation, the escalation path when the first responder does not answer, and exactly what is covered outside business hours.

What am I paying for?

Hours logged against the work they went to and visible to you continuously. Unused capacity gets discussed, not quietly absorbed.

What happens if we stop?

The handover date, the runbooks your team follows afterwards, and the confirmation that all of it already lives in your accounts.

INDUSTRIES

Running platforms under your industry's conditions

What counts as an acceptable outage is not a technical decision in most sectors.

Fintech

Change evidence and separation of duties maintained by the same team that ships the releases.

Healthcare

Access controls and audit trails kept current between assessments, not reconstructed before them.

SaaS

Platform health managed per tenant, so one customer's load never becomes everyone's incident.

Logistics

Operations that run continuously, covered by people who are awake when your night shift is.

Retail

Capacity planned ahead of peak season and released after it, without anyone remembering to file a ticket.

Manufacturing

Edge and plant-floor workloads monitored alongside the cloud ones, in the same rotation.

TECHNOLOGY EXPERTISE

Whatever your platform already runs on, kept running by people who work in it daily.

HOW WE ENGAGE

Three ways to buy the capacity

Staff augmentation

A senior DevOps engineer inside your team, under your direction, for the hours you need.

Dedicated development teams

A platform team assigned to your infrastructure full time, with the roadmap set by you.

Full project outsourcing

The practice run end to end under our management, from the assessment through daily operations and reporting.

FAQ

FAQs about our DevOps outsourcing services

01

How does pricing work?

You buy a monthly allocation of senior engineering hours at nearshore rates, which run 30-50% below equivalent US salaries. Hours are logged against the work they went to, unused capacity is discussed rather than quietly absorbed, and you get a line-item estimate on the first call.
02

Can we start small?

Yes, and it is the sensible way in. A short assessment or a single fixed scope tells both sides whether this works before anyone signs a monthly arrangement. Most of our long engagements started that way.
03

Will we get the same engineers every month?

Yes. People are assigned to your platform rather than pulled from a pool, because someone who has never seen your infrastructure is not much use at 2am. When a change is unavoidable it happens with overlap and you are told beforehand.
04

Do you cover on-call, and what are the response times?

We do, and the specifics are agreed in writing during onboarding: covered hours, response targets by severity level, and the escalation path when the first responder does not answer. Coverage outside business hours is priced separately so you only buy what you need.
05

What happens if we stop working with you?

You keep everything and you keep operating. Pipelines, infrastructure definitions and policies live in your repositories under your accounts throughout, documented as runbooks your team can follow. The handover is scheduled work with a date, not a negotiation at the end.
06

Can you work alongside our existing engineers?

Yes, and it is the most common setup. We take the operational load and the platform backlog while your team stays on the product. Our engineers follow your review process and submit changes like any other contributor.
07

How do you handle access to our production systems?

With least-privilege accounts issued by you, MFA, and access scoped to what the work requires. Every action is logged in your systems, and access is revoked when an engagement ends or an engineer rotates off. We never ask for shared credentials.
08

What do you report, and how often?

A weekly summary of what shipped and what broke, plus a monthly view of platform health, spend and hours used. The metrics are the standard ones: deployment frequency, change failure rate, MTTR and cost trend.
09

Do you also build things, or only keep them running?

Both, and the balance is yours to set. Most months split between operations and the improvement backlog, and you decide the ratio in the monthly planning rather than us deciding it for you.
10

Is this different from hiring your engineers directly through staff augmentation?

Yes, and the difference is who is accountable. With staff augmentation you get people and you direct them. With outsourcing you get an outcome and we manage the people, the coverage and the escalation. Plenty of clients start with the first and move to the second.
11

How fast can this start?

We present matched profiles within days, you interview and approve them, and onboarding usually takes 2 weeks including access, documentation and shadowing before we take anything over.
12

How much time zone overlap will we have?

Our engineers work across Latin America on US Central and Eastern time, which gives 6-8 hours of daily overlap. For operational work that is the difference between an incident handled while you are awake and one you read about in the morning.
