We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in backend development and some proficiency in front-end technologies, specifically React. You will be joining a fast-paced, dynamic environment within FusionHit, working with our client based in Las Vegas.

The Ideal Candidate Has

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience with React for front-end development, with an emphasis on performance and state management.
• AWS Cloud components (Lambda / Serverless, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, RDS, EC2, S3).
• Proficiency in databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• Experience developing and maintaining microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with web scraping tools and frameworks, and the ability to handle large-scale data extraction and processing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, with a focus on building scalable and efficient systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Support front-end development using React, assisting with integrations and ensuring smooth communication between front and back-end services.
• Work with web scraping tools and frameworks to gather and process data efficiently.
• Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
• Stay updated with emerging backend and web scraping technologies, applying them where appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for code quality and performance.
