Who we are

Engineers who have already shipped under a regulator

Financial software fails for reasons that have nothing to do with the feature list: a reconciliation edge case at month end, an audit trail nobody can reconstruct, a sandbox that behaves differently from production.

FusionHit builds fintech products with senior engineers across Latin America who have worked inside PCI scope, next to compliance officers, and through the questions a sponsor bank asks before it says yes. They work US Central and Eastern hours, so the decisions that move a regulated release happen the same day.

WHAT WE BUILD

Fintech systems we build

The products our clients bring us most often, each one built around the rails, the data and the rules it has to live with.

Digital banking platforms

Account opening, balances, transfers and statements, on a ledger that reconciles and an interface people can use every day.

Payments and wallets

Gateway and processor integrations, wallets, disbursements and the retry, refund and settlement logic underneath them.

Lending and loan origination

Application flows, decisioning, servicing and collections, with the audit trail each decision has to leave behind.

Wealth and investment platforms

Portfolio, order and reporting systems for advisors and their clients, built for the volumes a market open produces.

KYC, AML and onboarding

Identity, document and sanctions checks wired into an onboarding flow that stays fast when the rules get stricter.

Fraud detection and risk scoring

Models and rules that score transactions in line, with the monitoring to see what they are catching and what they are missing.

Core and third-party integrations

The layer between your core system, your processor, your KYC vendor and your data warehouse, so numbers match everywhere.

Legacy platform modernization

Moving a financial system off the stack that is holding it back, without stopping settlement or losing history.

WHO WE BUILD FOR

The companies we build fintech software for

Different institutions, different constraints. These are the ones our engineers already know how to work with.

Banks and credit unions

Digital channels and integrations around a core you are not going to replace this year.

Payment companies and PSPs

Processing, settlement and merchant tooling, where an outage is measured in transactions, not tickets.

Lending platforms

Origination and servicing where the decision logic changes as often as the funding does.

Wealth and investment firms

Advisor and client platforms that have to be right at the close, every day.

Insurtech

Policy, quoting and claims systems that carry the same data-handling duties as any financial product.

Fintech startups

A first product that has to convince a sponsor bank and a security reviewer, not just a demo audience.

IN WRITING

How we work inside your compliance perimeter

Every provider on this search lists the same certifications. Almost none of them says how the work is actually done. This is what we put in the agreement before anyone gets access.

What the agreement says
Who touches production data

By default, nobody on our side. Engineers work against masked or synthetic data in lower environments. Production access is granted by you, to named people, for a stated reason, and it is logged.

Where the code and the data live

In repositories and cloud accounts under your organization, in the region you choose. We do not copy your data into our systems, and nothing moves to a personal device.

How changes stay auditable

Every change goes through a ticket, a pull request and a review by a second engineer, so the record of who changed what, when and why is complete before an auditor asks for it.

What we do about PCI scope

We design to keep cardholder data out of your application wherever tokenization or a hosted field can do the job, and we tell you when a requirement puts something back in scope.

Access, devices and offboarding

Named engineers, your identity provider, your MFA, your device policy. When someone rolls off the team, access is removed the same day and we confirm it in writing.

Audit and due diligence support

We answer your auditor's and your sponsor bank's questions about the engineering process, and we produce the change records, review history and test evidence they ask for.

What we need from your side

A product owner who can decide within the week, access to the sandboxes and vendor accounts the work depends on, and your security and compliance contacts in the room from the first sprint.

TIMELINE AND COST

What it takes to build, by system

Vendors answer this with 'it depends'. Here is what it depends on, by the kind of system, so you arrive at the first call knowing what to expect.

Typical timeline to first release
What drives the cost
Payment or processor integration

2-3 months

Number of rails, how well the provider documents its API, reconciliation rules, and how refunds, chargebacks and retries have to behave.

KYC and onboarding flow

2-4 months

Vendors involved, document and biometric checks, manual review queues, and how much the rules differ by state or country.

Lending origination and servicing

5-8 months

Decisioning logic, the systems it reads from, servicing and collections scope, and the audit trail each decision has to leave.

Digital banking or wallet app

6-9 months

Core banking integration, ledger design, mobile plus web, and the volume you have to hold at launch.

Integration layer between systems

3-5 months

Number of systems, data quality on both sides, and whether the vendors have sandboxes you can actually test against.

Legacy platform modernization

6-12 months

Feature parity with what people use today, data migration and history, and running both systems in parallel during cutover.

HOW WE ENGAGE

Three ways to work with us

Pick the model that fits how your team runs. Plenty of clients start with one and move to another as the roadmap grows.

Staff augmentation

Senior engineers added to your existing team, under your direction. Best when you have a technical lead and need capacity or a specific skill.

Dedicated development teams

A stable team that works only on your product, with a lead on our side. Best when you want a whole workstream owned without hiring a manager for it.

Software development outsourcing

A defined scope delivered end to end under our management, for a fixed price and date. Best when the scope is clear and you want one number and one date.

Plant, quality and supply systems that integrate with equipment nobody wants to touch.

FAQ

FAQs about our fintech software development services

01

How much does fintech software development cost?

It depends on the system. A payment or processor integration is a different project from a lending platform with its own decisioning. The table on this page gives the ranges we see by system type, and after discovery you get a written scope with the cost by milestone. Senior LATAM rates typically run 30-50% below equivalent US rates.
02

How long does it take to build a fintech product?

Typically 2-3 months for a payment integration, 2-4 months for a KYC and onboarding flow, 5-8 months for lending origination, and 6-9 months for a digital banking or wallet app. Discovery gives you the real number for your case.
03

How do you handle security and compliance during development?

Through the engineering process, not a checklist at the end. Engineers work against masked or synthetic data, production access is granted by you to named people and logged, every change goes through review, and we design to keep sensitive data out of scope wherever that is possible. The section above this FAQ is what goes into the agreement.
04

Do your engineers get access to our production systems or our customer data?

By default, no. Lower environments use masked or synthetic data. If a task genuinely needs production access, you grant it to a named engineer for a stated reason and it is logged, the same way you would for your own staff.
05

Can you support us through an audit or a sponsor bank's due diligence?

Yes. We answer questions about how the software is built and maintained, and we produce the change records, code review history and test evidence your auditor or your bank asks for. This is part of the engagement, not a separate project.
06

Have your engineers worked in regulated financial environments before?

Yes. Our fintech engineers have shipped inside PCI scope and worked alongside compliance officers on payment, lending and banking systems. You interview them before anyone joins your team, so you can test that yourself.
07

Can you integrate with our core banking system and our existing vendors?

Yes. Integrations with core banking, processors, KYC and AML vendors, card networks and data warehouses are scoped in discovery, and the reconciliation rules become part of the acceptance criteria rather than a surprise at the end.
08

Who owns the code and the intellectual property?

You do. The work lives in repositories and cloud accounts under your organization, and the contract assigns all intellectual property to you from the first commit.
09

What happens if there is a production incident?

Our engineers work US Central and Eastern hours, which is the point of working nearshore for a financial product. When a processor escalates or a payment flow breaks at 2pm in New York, the people who wrote the code are online, not starting their day twelve hours later.
10

Do we hire your engineers or do you deliver the project?

Either. You can add senior engineers to your own team, have a dedicated team own the workstream with a lead on our side, or hand us a defined scope for a fixed price and date. The three models are linked above.
