A mobile product team was running two parallel codebases — iOS and Android — but iOS development was consistently falling behind. A portion of the iOS app was still written in Objective-C, relying on unmaintained legacy libraries. The gap created delivery risk, inconsistent release cycles, and technical debt that was compounding with each sprint.
What We Did
FusionHit embedded AI into the iOS development workflow to close the velocity gap. Two workstreams ran in parallel. The first was day-to-day development acceleration: engineers used AI as a hands-on development partner, dramatically increasing output without sacrificing code quality or review standards. The second was targeted modernization: the legacy Objective-C sections of the app were systematically migrated to Swift, with dependencies updated to modern, actively maintained libraries — work that would have consumed weeks of senior engineering time done in a fraction of the time.
